We’ve added some new features related to Setlists, MIDI and Settings.
We've added a new feature called Tabs! Now, you can add a Setlist to a tab, and it will appear above your pads for quick access and easy switching.
To add a Setlist to a tab, go to the Setlist you want, press the three dots menu, and select "Add to Tab+". The Setlist will then show up as a tab above your pads. If you want to remove it from the tabs, just press the dots again and select "Remove from Tab".
In addition, the Setlist preview has been improved. There's now a new Grid View option! By default, your setlists will be displayed as cards, showing more information at a glance. If you prefer the classic look, the List View is still available, just switch back anytime.
You'll also notice a helpful warning if any songs in your setlists have been deleted from the File Manager, making it easier to keep your setlists up to date and avoid missing files.
A new Total Duration label has been added! When this feature is enabled, you'll always see the total playtime of your current pad setup, making it easier to plan and manage your performances. Simply turn it on in the settings, and the total duration will be displayed at the top of your pads. The total duration is also visible in the Setlists overview.
Note that this feature is not enabled automatically. You need to navigate to the settings and then the Pads tab to enable it. There is also an option to subtract the played tracks from the total duration.
And last but not least, we've added some exciting improvements to the MIDI plugin! You can now configure which MIDI commands you would like to send to the app, and connect them to media actions. Check out the image from the settings below:
This means you can use, for example, MIDI foot pedals to control the app hands-free. In the future, we'll be adding even more commands, including control over pads with program changes and band selection, giving you even more flexibility and power during your performances!
Also some users have requested MIDI Start / Stop / Continue commands be configurable as send out commands in the app. So we've added these as well. These commands do not have a channel, so they will always be visible, regardless of which channel you've selected. These commands can also be added on specific times with the newly added Add clock button.
We hope you like this update! We love hearing from our users! If you have a feature request, idea, or suggestion for EasyPerformer, please don’t hesitate to send us a message. Your feedback helps us make the app even better for everyone. 😊
