Playback behaviour
Playback behaviour determines what happens when a track finishes playing. You configure it per pad, so every song in your set can end in its own way: flow straight into the next track, repeat itself, or stop and wait for you. This gives you precise control over the flow of your show.
Setting the playback behaviour
- Enter Edit mode and tap the pad you want to configure to open Track Actions.
- Navigate to the second tab, Playback, where you will find the playback behaviour options.
- Tap the toggles to enable or disable the options.
To Next Track
When the track finishes, the next track in the pads list starts automatically.
You can add a Delay of up to 15 seconds. The app waits that long after the track finishes before starting the next one, which gives you room to say a few words or catch your breath between songs.
If Start with double tap is enabled in the settings, you can also select a pad manually: tap a pad once and it turns gray to show it is selected. The selected pad then becomes the next track, so you can change the order of your set on the fly.
Repeat Track
When the track finishes, it simply starts again. Useful for backing loops or ambient beds that need to keep going until you stop them.
End Playback
When the track finishes, playback stops. This option is especially useful in combination with Autoplay in the settings. For example, with Autoplay enabled you can set End Playback on the fifth pad: your set plays through automatically, stops after the fifth track, and continues autoplaying as soon as you tap another pad, such as pad six. Perfect for building a break into your show.
