EasyPerformer

Quick start

Import your first track and play it from a pad in a few simple steps.

This guide takes you from a fresh install to playing your first track.

Importing your tracks

Tap the Edit button in the top-right corner to enter Edit mode. Then tap any pad and a Track Actions menu will appear. Tap Add file to open the file manager, where all your imported tracks are stored.

If you have not imported any tracks yet, tap Import files +. You can choose from three methods:

  • Local storage: opens your device's file picker so you can select files already on your device.
  • Import from Website: open import.easyperformer.com on your computer or another device, and follow the steps there to send files to the app.
  • Apple Music: import tracks directly from your Apple Music library.

After importing, your files will appear as a list in the file manager.

Playing a track

Tap a file in the file manager to assign it to the pad you selected. Tap the pad to start playback, and use the pause button at the bottom of the screen to pause.

Configuring a pad

While in Edit mode, tapping a pad opens Track Actions. From here you can do a lot more than just assign a file. Think of adjusting pitch and tempo, editing the pad name and colour, setting up lyrics and visuals, trimming the track, configuring playback behaviour for when a track finishes, and MIDI support.

Settings

Open Settings by tapping the cogwheel icon in the top-left corner. There are many options to tailor the app to your workflow, for example enabling autoplay so the next track starts automatically, configuring crossfade between tracks, or enabling double-tap to start. Have a look around to set things up exactly how you like.
